How to save recorded text on your presentation

Do you have to be present to make a presentation? Not necessarily – at least not with PowerPoint. Here you can prepare the entire presentation in advance. By presetting effects and background voice, the file can be easily played by anyone and reaching your audience without your presence.

In the menu under “slide show” you’ll find the command “Record Narration”, after selecting, you automatically start the presentation and speak into an appropriate recording device. Once you are done with the slide or animation, you go to the next and you record the necessary information for the slide content. Simultaneously the recording time saves the display time. At the end of the presentation you confirm that you wish to keep the display time.

In addition to spoken recording, you can import background music – if your sound card supports this action. A little tip: save the music in a different file format than the text (for example, WAV and MP3).  This is the best way to avoid a stutter.
