In this model, Lewin describes the individual steps that a company goes through during the change process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">#1: Unfreezing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In this first phase of the process, all stakeholders are<strong> prepared for the change process<\/strong>. Additionally, the problems of the current state are identified. It is important to ensure support, for example from leadership positions. <strong>Introducing a change process alone and without backing is futile<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, it is necessary to clearly communicate the meaning and necessity of the change. This builds the willingness among employees to embrace the change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this first phase, the focus is on information and analysis, not directly on change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">#2: Change<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This phase, compared to the first and last phase, is somewhat self-explanatory and describes<strong> the process of actual changes<\/strong>. The discussed processes are introduced, departments may be restructured, and new concepts are tested and established.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this phase, it is particularly important that the <strong>changes are accepted by everyone<\/strong>. Therefore, it is crucial to clearly communicate all changes, benefits, and progress. Additionally, address any emerging questions openly and honestly to dispel concerns and rumors among employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Implementing change processes is not always easy<\/strong>, especially when some participants anticipate disadvantages. It is important to invest time in clarifying the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">#3: Refreezing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This phase occurs after the <strong>changes have been implemented<\/strong> in the company. It ensures that the changes are sustained and internalized by employees. This ensures that o<strong>ld patterns are not reverted to <\/strong>and that the changes are maintained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This can be achieved through management support, employee feedback, and communication.
