Here\u2019s an overview of some of the most useful keyboard shortcuts for PowerPoint.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Looking to speed up your workflow. PowerPoint not only offers the popular tried-and-true shortcuts, but also many others that you may not know. Read on for our selection of the most useful shortcuts in PowerPoint.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Duplicate Objects \u2013 Ctrl + D<br \/>\n<\/strong>Create a copy of the selected object (shape, text field, image, etc.). Holding down the left mouse button + Ctrl also creates a copy of the object, simultaneously allowing you to move the duplicate to where you want on the slide.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Duplicate Slides \u2013 Ctrl + Shift + D<br \/>\n<\/strong>Ctrl + Shift + D is used to duplicate the selected slide.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>Open Header and Footer Dialog Box \u2013 Alt + Shift + D<br \/>\n<\/strong>Change header and footer settings.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong>Insert New Slide \u2013 Ctrl + M<br \/>\n<\/strong>Add a slide to your presentation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><strong>Insert Hyperlink \u2013 Ctrl + K<br \/>\n<\/strong>Opens the Insert Hyperlink dialog box.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li><strong>Cut \u2013 Ctrl + X<br \/>\n<\/strong>Cut selected object, text, or slide.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li><strong>Copy \u2013 Ctrl + C<br \/>\n<\/strong>Copy selected text or object to clipboard<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"8\">\n<li><strong>Paste \u2013 Ctrl + V<br \/>\n<\/strong>Insert copied object or text from clipboard.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"9\">\n<li><strong>Group Objects \u2013 Ctrl + G<br \/>\n<\/strong>Group selected objects.
