The thing is: most people only remember 10-20% of the things they hear. However, if you manage to make your concept unforgettable, you’ll be one step ahead of everyone else.

But how do you do that?

Connect your concept to a pain point that the customer is facing. For example, if you’re in sales, you could talk about how your idea can help the company increase its revenue.

Explain why your audience should be interested in your message and the change you’re aiming for. Once you’ve done that, tell the listeners how your solution alleviates their pain point.

Use a complete sentence to articulate the transformative goal, such as:

“This software will make your team more productive and generate millions in revenue within two years.”

Furthermore, emphasize your concept with a well-developed value proposition! This supports your statement of why the content of your presentation can be beneficial to prospects. You can find tips on this in the article about value proposition.

Inspire action!

Finally, you should encourage your audience to take action. Let them know that you are the right person if they are looking for someone to help them increase their revenue.

How does that work? It’s simple: Use a call-to-action. With a call-to-action, your content and concept will remain in the memory even after the presentation. By taking the suggested action, prospects stay engaged with your ideas. Such a call-to-action can range from signing up for a newsletter to purchasing a product. Further tips can be found in the call-to-action article.

With these tips in mind, you are ready to put your big concept into action and leave a lasting impression on potential prospects.
